Re-Fashioned Tops

Hello My Blogger Friends,

I figured while I was still trying to figure out how to use the Video part of my camera, I would show you a couple of pictures of some tops that I kind of re-fashioned so I could wear them comfortably.

First there is this awesome lime yellow (that's what I call it) small T top that I had purchase at a quick moment when I went to work and the top I was wearing just looked like crap...it was Saturday and I was delivery tires at the time...yes tires.
I would do pretty much any job that entailed driving because I just loved to drive.
Anyway, I quickly drove to the closest mall which was a couple of minutes away and ran through the mall looking for any store where I could find a decent top....so low and behold I spotted this awesome T which I just loved the colour so I grabbed it...
should have picked up a small, but bought a medium instead...needless to say the medium was a little loose, and being a V-neck didn't help with all the bending I had to do while slugging tires to customers.:)

As soon as I got home I pulled out some lace pieces I have amongst my fabrics and found a piece that I thought looked nice with this T and quickly pinned it in place while I wore it, then took off the top and sewed it in place with the machine.....cut of any excess lace and there I had a cute T in one of my favourite colours ready to wear comfortably now with the lace.

Second... Wow, this top has got to be over twenty years old forsure!...I bought this top at a Rib Fest in London, Ontario while visiting a good friend and my oldest daughter was with me too because she was the only child at the time of this purchase.  We had a great time at the Rib Fest ... ya know, ate some yummy ribs, went on a few rides and then came upon a great selection of silk screened T-shirts which I couldn't resist.  I still remember my daughter bought one with a Lion and I bought this one of the Zebra.  It had a crew neck.

I do love large T-shirts to wear sometimes, but it always bugged me because they looked manly and I wanted mine to have a bit of fem to it...you know what I mean?  So, out came the scissors and lace.

Made a V-neck first, added the lace, and even put a small slit on each side of this top which I still wear today.  I would say the 50 bucks I paid for it way back then was worth it if I'm still getting use out of it. :) Adding a belt to any large T always looks nice too.

Learning To Do Video

Hi everyone,

I'll get quick to the point on this posting because I am trying to figure out how to use the video on my camera.

Now, it surely is not top of the line but I'm sure it can do the trick.

I figure it would be a lot easier for me to do a tutorial by Video than to take a picture and comment for each step.

Since it is only myself without anyone to help me, (when our children grow everyone is busy with their own things).

I was lucky enough to even have the camera given to me, but without a guide book to show me directions, and so far I haven't had luck trying to Google and get the one I need. (I hope they make them still) :)

Maybe...

My Widget

Well...I hope I'm saying it right, but I want a widget for other Bloggers to be able to add to their blog to follow me.

I have a couple that I had copied the html and pasted into my blog so now I have their widget....but for some reason I think I'm calling it by the wrong name...

Let me get back to you on that,  is it a Widget? or what the heck is it called?

You do know what I'm talking about though...right?

I will continue this tomorrow when I get my facts straight. :)

Until then,
Don't Wait To Create.

New Messenger Bag Recycled from Burlap Coffee Sack

Hello All,

I am so happy because I finally completed my first coffee sack messenger bag and am so happy with the outcome.

It did take me more time than I thought because I am so fussy with all the little details.

If you remember a couple of posts ago I mentioned when I went to Victoria Park and Kingston Road with my large plastic "Ikea" blue bag so that I could what ever fit into the bag.  The funny thing is
