Hi, my name is LauraBelle but everyone just calls me Laura. 

I love God,

I love my family,

and I love to create, design, recycle, up cycle and most of all have fun. 

This is pretty new to me, but I'll get straight to the point.

I'm frugal and over 50. :)  Not Cheap!

There is a difference you know. :)

I love to look nice and look for good deals so that I can create the things I like to do most.

I'll  be blogging about my journeys to find free fabric, sometimes on Craigslist, or traveling across the city by transit to pick up some free burlap coffee sacks to create and design some bags or even a couple of large floor pillows. 

Because I'm on a tight budget...seeking out great deals is where you will find me...digging in bins of discounted
fabric, buttons and notions. :)  That's part of the fun.

I also have a shop where I sell my designs so that I can earn a bit of money to buy more supplies and I'd really like to donate to an animal rescue when I start making some good sales. 

I just love animals...and dogs being my favourite. :)

I Love to learn and try new things, which can get me into trouble because I wonder off from what I started and sometimes don't get back to that project until a week or two later. :)  I need to get better organized.

I usually come up with an idea after looking at what I've got to work with.

Wherever my mind takes me. 

I'll show you what I do with some T-shirts so that they look more fem because I really like to wear them but find that a lot of them just look to manly. I figure why not still have the comfort of throwing on a large T and still feel like a woman.

Working with fabrics,metals,(copper being a favourite),jewels, vintage pieces mixed with new. I love it all and want to try it all. 

Most of what I do comes from my imagination and trying other designs out there with a twist of my own.

I usually only make One-of-a-kinds so you can have a special treat for yourself that no one else will have.

If I do make a second...it's only because I want it, and since the chance of you running into me wearing the same thing, I would still say you have an original. :)
